How to configure a Samsung Tizen 4.0 Screen for digital signage use
(Samsung DB-J,QB,QM series)
1: Connecting the monitor
Connect the monitor to network and power. Set the on / off switch on the back of the screen to on. Switch on the screen with a remote control
2: Set up
When the monitor is switched on for the first time, you will be automatically guided through a settings menu. There are 6 steps in this
1: Select the desired language (English)
2:Choose ( Basic Setup)
3: Choose landscape or portrait (Landscape)
4: Auto power off
5: Choose URL Launcher
6: Select URL Launcher. A keyboard appears where you have to enter the URL.

Select done and go to the next step
7: Connect to RM Server ( skip)
8: Set the date and time
9: You are done with the setup. Select ok. You will now be taken to the menu below, or on the remote control press the Home button and then on the URL Launcher screen.
The screen will download the Tizen app and then make a connection with the Easyscreen server.
If the screen is not yet registered, the easyscreen.tv start screen appears. You can now see your hardware in your narrowcasting account and create fragments from there. You can find an explanation of how to get started in your account at:
