Learn how to perform a factory reset for Samsung displays!
Sometimes when your Samsung Signage Display is not functioning properly, a factory reset can solve the problem.
For this, you will need a remote.
- Turn the display on.
- Switch to HDMI/Display Port video source.
- Turn off the display, wait until the RED IR light starts to glow.
- Using IR Remote control press this sequence: MUTE - 1 - 8 - 2 - POWER ON.
The sequence is very important, you might have to try it a few times before being succesful!
- The display will show the Options Menu, press: OK and select Factory Reset
- The display boots into the Factory/service menu.
- After 1 or 2 minutes, you can turn on the display again.
After you have performed the factory reset, you will have to configure the display again with the configuration manual.
