Set Up Instagram Widget
With the Instagram widget, you can easily display your Instagram posts on your narrowcasting screens.
Login
The most important step within the widget is connecting your Instagram account, which you want to use for content, to the narrowcasting environment by logging in.
It is crucial to select the correct permissions within Instagram for the app registration.
Instagram now requires that a Business Account or Creator Account be linked. When you log in again, you will be presented with this option. A standard (personal) account is no longer supported.
Outdated Content
If the Instagram widget is no longer fetching new posts, it is likely that the token has expired. To resolve this issue, we recommend logging out and then logging back in. This will refresh the token, ensuring the widget functions correctly again.
Note:
Instagram may use certain fonts or emojis that are no longer supported on older media players (MBR-1100). In such cases, you will see a square with a cross instead of the unsupported characters.
Our Instagram widget does not support Carousel Albums. For posts with multiple images or videos, the widget displays only one image:
- For multiple images, only the first one is shown.
- For videos, only a still image (first frame) is displayed.
