How to configure a Samsung Tizen 7.0 Screen for digital signage use

Monitor Setup Guide

Follow the steps below to set up your monitor after powering it on for the first time:

Step 1: Language Selection

Choose English as the display language.

Step 2: Network Connection

Select the type of network connection:
  • Cable for a wired connection.
  • Wireless for a Wi-Fi connection.

Step 3: Manual Setup

Opt for Manual Setup to proceed with the configuration.

Step 4: Orientation Selection

  • Choose Auto for the display orientation (do not select landscape or portrait).
  • Enable Auto Power Off to conserve energy when not in use.

Step 5: Player Selection

  • Select Custom App as the player.

Step 6: Enter the URL

  • Input the following URL:
    https://innovation.cms-ds.com/soc-tizen/live

Step 7: Server Date and Time Setup

  • The date and time will automatically configure when connected to a network. If not, manually enter the correct date and time.

Step 8: Activate Remote Configuration

  • Ensure that Remote Configuration is enabled for remote management.

Step 9: PIN Setup (Optional)

  • You may set up a PIN for additional security, or you can choose to Skip this step.

Step 10: Complete Setup

  • After completing the steps, select OK to finalize the setup process.
You will then be directed to the main menu. Alternatively, you can press the Home button on the remote control and select the Custom App icon to continue.

Final Step: Connection ID

  • The display will download the Tizen app and attempt to connect with the CMS server. If the screen is not registered yet, a Connection ID will be displayed.



Action Required:
Contact your supplier with the Connection ID and the screen’s location for registration.
