This manual will show the settings you need to check if you have any issues using facebook widgets from the signage platform.
Most of the issues are related to privacy settings which are required in order to receive the data from a facebook profile.
Important: Pages must be set public in order to work.
Settings login from the digital signage platform
Add pages to digital signage:
If you are unable to find the page in dropdown or the page is not showing data, please check if the pages are added correctly
After you login using the login button on the digital signage page, you can find the option “edit settings”
Follow these steps:
Option: which pages you want to use with digital signage?
- Select the pages you want to use, and press “next”
Option: What is digital signage allowed to do?
- Please check if the page have the access to “Read content posted on the Page”, so the slider should be on “yes”, and press “done”
Now if everything is selected correctly you are able to select you page in the template editor and see the content from that page
Facebook settings
If the settings from the digital signage page are set correctly (as described above), and you still have some problems: Please check the privacy settings of the facebook page itself.

In order to open the Facebook settings:
Press on you icon in top right corner > Settings & privacy > Settings
Please check the following settings under “Audience and visibility”
Post
- Stories
- Followers and public content
- Page and tagging

You need to have access to the page you want to use in the CMS.
